Hood Colours for your Degree

The colours of the various academic fields  are blue, gold, green, lilac, claret, purple and union jack red. Some of them will be combined by one or two colours such as bronze, brown, violet grey, greenbeetle, union jack blue, powderblue, grass green, garnet, red, crimson, coral, amethyst, satinwood, cream, black and so on and so forth to represent a degree. Doctor of Philosophy also wear specific hood, which are univerity blue colour regardless of the academic field in which they graduated.
